After making an open-hearted confession about her love affair with Edison Chen on a TV talk-show last week, the singer-actress appeared at a press conference of TOUGH Jeansmith on Tuesday in Hong Kong as the new Asian face of the fashion brand.

Earlier this month, Gillian posed for the ad campaign photos.
Officials of the brand said they choose Gillian for her persistent attitude towards work.
The member of popular singing duo Twins said, to a full house of reporters, that she’s feeling great pressure to resume her showbiz career. She wept several times while talking about old partner Charlene Choi, and said she hopes to collaborate with her again in the future.
Gillian revealed during the March 5 show that her upcoming work will focus on the screen rather than her singing career.

More news has leaked over Gillian Chung’s interview.

Gillian has expressed that the pictures was taken because she was afraid of losing Edison Chen. Being blindly in love, she consented to taking those pictures. Gillian also echo what Cecilia expressed that Edison Chen has never once contacted her or apologies after the incident blew up. Recalling what happened, Gillian Chung said: “I called my mom and cried a lot, I told her I can’t take it any longer. My mom was extremely worried about me, she said “if you don’t feel like doing it then just stop”.”

Although I try not to pass any personal remarks on it, a lot of the above sounds scripted and it seems Gillian Chung is just trying to seek sympathy and allow her to have a successful comeback. Maybe it is because this interview comes after Cecilia; yet there isn’t much sincerity in her words if you catch my drift.

Gillian Chung will officially make her comeback on the 10th of this month.

In a preview of her exclusive interview on Be My Guest on Saturday, TVB News showed Gillian Chung expressing her remorse over the sex photo scandal. Gillian was telling Stephen how she thought about suicide at the start, however Gillian realize that she will be hurting everyone who supports her.

Despite her resolve to try to put this past her, for a long time she could not face people and every time she was out, she concealed herself under heavy garments. Gillian Chung has expressed that it is only with continual support from her family, friends and everyone who loves her was she able to come to terms with herself.

Gillian admits she has to take the brunt of the mistake and has nobody esle but herself to blame. During this entire year, Gillian Chung has learnt that only when she respect herself will others respect her.
